Charming Victorian Inn: From the moment we stepped foot into this beautifully restored 1900 Victorian Inn, we were transported back in time. The architecture and intricate details throughout the property made us feel like we were living in a fairytale castle.
Limited accessibility: While we were aware that there was no elevator at the establishment, it would have been nice to have a room on a lower floor. Climbing 34 steps to our 3rd-floor room was quite the workout!

I greatly enjoyed large room, it had an exceptionally comfortable bed, central heating, multi-channel TV and a seating area. The location was absolutely perfect and favourable, the staff was amicable. Also, a historic 8-ft bronze statue was 1 mile away.

The chef-created cuisine was divine, the Victorian Inn's architecture and details were charming, and the staff's sincere hospitality made my stay delightful.
Oh, and let's not forget the joy of hearing the river flowing outside my window all night long. Absolutely unbearable.

The location was awesome, just a short distance from the waterfront. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Plus, the rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a great place to relax after a day of exploring Gloucester.
The only thing we wished for was more fun activities for young people. While the hotel had a great atmosphere and beautiful surroundings, we were hoping for some onsite entertainment options like a game room or a pool.

The house and property were absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the river. Our room was cozy and comfortable, making us feel right at home. The young woman at the front desk was incredibly helpful, providing us with all the necessary information. We enjoyed delicious meals in the dining area and were impressed by the friendly and attentive staff. The breakfasts were mouthwatering, and the Sunday Brunch was a highlight. The family suite on the top floor was perfect for our group, with a private space for our teen grandchild. The welcome bag and always available coffee and tea in the lobby were thoughtful touches. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great convenience, and the car park made it easy for us to explore the city. We also enjoyed the outdoor dining area, soaking up the beautiful surroundings. our stay at this historic Victorian BnB was a truly memorable and delightful experience.

Our group of friends had a blast exploring Gloucester and the nearby spots. We hit up the amazing beaches where we totally crushed the waves. And the nightlife? ! Off the charts! We danced the night away at a local hotspot and had a blast. The best part? The inn had an awesome onsite coordinator who hooked us up with the coolest events and made sure we had the BEST time. So much fun, can't wait to go back!
Okay, the only thing we wished for was a rad party room at the inn. Like, a place where we could have our own DJ, lights, and awesome dance floor.

We truly enjoyed everything. It was a beautiful old and gorgeous place to stay with an attached restaurant. The staff was amicable. A very very good breakfast was provided. The hotel had a particularly good location on the outskirts of Gloucester.

Partial views of the Annisquam river: From our private balcony, we felt like royalty overlooking the sparkling Annisquam river. It was as if we were lounging in our own mini kingdom, sipping tea and watching the world go by, all while being surrounded by the charming Victorian architecture of the inn.
Outdated technology.

The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We especially loved dining on the outside deck, enjoying the beautiful views as we started our mornings. The family suite on the top floor of the Victorian house provided the perfect amount of space for our large family. Our teen grandchild loved the privacy of the second bed, which made their stay even more enjoyable. The welcome bag was a thoughtful touch, and having coffee and tea available in the lobby at all times was much appreciated. We highly recommend Castle Manor Inn for families seeking a charming and comfortable retreat.
My children wanted more kid-friendly activities or a play area on the property.
